Eight tables. One flame.

Sculptural fire for the outdoor room. Tables and fireplaces, every one made to order in your choice of steel, finish and size. Nothing here is off the shelf.

Our fire tables run on clean bioethanol fuel; the Wood Fire collection below is designed for real wood. Love a design but want it in the other fuel? We can work on it with you. Tap a finish swatch under any table to see it in that colour.

Prices shown are indicative “from” prices (incl GST) and will vary with size, fittings and your chosen finish. A raw, blackened or waxed steel finish costs less than a powder-coated colour.

Wood Fire · Collection

Real wood fire, raw steel.

For the crackle, the scent and the heat of a real fire. Our wood-burning pieces are made in solid corten, matte blackened or raw waxed steel only, never powder-coat, because a wood fire runs too hot for a coloured finish. Steel that only looks better with the heat.

Enquire to start a piece.

Are your fire tables wood-burning or bioethanol?

Our fire tables run on clean bioethanol fuel, and our open fires, the Wood Fire collection, are designed for real wood burning. If you love a table design but want a wood fire, or an open fire adapted to your space, we can work on that with you, or design something bespoke to your brief.

Do you make built-in outdoor fireplaces?

Yes, alongside freestanding fire tables we fabricate the corten steel firebox for built-in outdoor fireplaces. We supply the steel only; the concrete, brick or masonry surround is built by your builder.

Do you deliver outside Christchurch?

Yes. We make bespoke steel fire tables and fireplaces in Christchurch and deliver nationwide. Regular projects across Christchurch and Canterbury, Queenstown, Wānaka and Central Otago, and Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough, with delivery to the North Island too. Everything arrives with what your builder or installer needs.

Do you make fire tables in Christchurch?

Yes. Every ARC fire table and outdoor fireplace is designed and hand-made at our Christchurch workshop, and we deliver across Christchurch and Canterbury, to Queenstown, Wānaka, Nelson and Marlborough, and nationwide.

Which burner do your fire tables use?

Our bioethanol fire tables use EcoSmart burners, a leading Australian-made bioethanol burner known for clean, safe, smoke-free flame. They need no flue or gas connection, so a fire table can sit indoors or out.

Can I see a fire table before I buy?

Our workshop isn't open to visitors, but we're opening a Christchurch showroom in 2027 where you'll be able to see the tables and a burner running. Until then we can send finish samples and photos, and talk you through the range by phone or video. Call 021 072 0441.

How long does a fire table take to make?

Made to order, typically four to six weeks from confirmed design and finish, depending on our workshop schedule. We confirm a timeframe with your quote.

Can a fire table be used indoors?

Yes, bioethanol burns cleanly with no smoke or flue, so our fire tables suit living rooms as well as terraces. Ventilation and clearances to combustible surfaces still apply; we advise on both.

Can I choose my own colour or size?

Yes. Every table is bespoke. Choose corten, blackened or raw waxed steel, or any colour by powder-coat or wet-spray, and we can adjust the size and proportions to suit your space.

Do you supply fire tables to Nelson and Marlborough?

Yes. Our fire tables and outdoor fireplaces are made in Christchurch and delivered to Nelson, Richmond, Blenheim and across the Tasman and Marlborough regions, as well as Canterbury, Queenstown and Wānaka, and anywhere in New Zealand.

Can you match a specific colour?

Yes. Every piece can be finished in a colour from the Dulux or Resene ranges, or in a completely custom colour. We use both powder-coat and wet paint systems over a zinc-rich primer, and choose the right one for the piece, so hardware and handles can be colour-matched too.

Is a bioethanol fire table warm enough to sit around?

Yes for a sheltered patio or courtyard. A bioethanol burner gives a real flame and gentle radiant heat, ideal for taking the edge off a Christchurch or Central Otago evening, though it is not a heater for a large open deck. For serious heat, choose a wood-burning outdoor fireplace in corten or blackened steel.

Do you supply fire tables to Queenstown and Wānaka?

Yes. Many of our fire tables and outdoor fireplaces go to homes and lodges in Queenstown, Wānaka, Arrowtown and Central Otago. Made in Christchurch and delivered to site with everything your builder needs.
